Product was original part, new, although it came in non retail packaging. I am a first timer installer and it is not that difficult to replace if you are talented at delicatre work and patient. It works perfectly and I am extremely happy to have given a second life to my expensive SONY Tablet.

I was extremely satisfied with this purchase! From the picture, I was expecting a 3rd party manufactured screen, but what I received had the Sony label in the top corner, just like the original. I connected the new screen, and everything works exactly as it did before. Shipping was extremely fast, arriving only 10 days after I placed the order. This is literally a drop in screen and digitizer/glass replacement for the original. It comes with the ribbon connector for the digitizer as can be seen in the picture. So long as you aren't attempting to save the LCD (good luck with this tablet), it isn't that difficult of a replacement process, and was well worth the price paid over purchasing a new tablet. I do wish it had come with some pre-cut adhesive tape to expedite the reassembly, but that was never advertised, so I cannot hold it against them.
